What does Colour Wizard cost?

If you want a single-license territory of both mobile SMART paint repair AND alloy wheel refurbishment in one package that contains everything that you need to start trading (including all equipment and supplies); then the franchise is from only around £28,000 +VAT - which means that you need personal funds of only £8,400 + VAT if funded by a bank loan, subject to status*.

Management fees are only 10% and advertising levies 1% of your turnover.

For those that don’t want both in one package, Colour Wizard® (SMART paint repair) alone is £19,970 + VAT or Alloy Wizard (Alloy refurbishment) alone is £22,690 + VAT.

For most franchisees, it may make more financial sense to take both paint and alloys in the attractive combined package.

Additional territories are £2,500 + VAT each; subject to performance targets, capacity, staffing and equipment.

Every franchisee has the option, subject to the above requirements, to expand their territory from one license of circa 60,000 households, 4,000 businesses and at least 84,000 local cars to 3 licenses of circa 181,000 households, 12,500 businesses and at least 251,000 local cars.

*We have a relationship with the franchise departments of all the high street banks. We can help you in your application for funding from them and they may typically lend anywhere from 50% to 100% of the total investment - depending on your status and the performance of the business. The above figure is based on funding by a 70% bank loan.

There is no guarantee of lending at any level as this is subject to your credit status and other factors.

Set Up Costs

The cost of setting up one of our franchises is not as high as you might think.

We are completely transparent in how we charge for our franchises and thus charge separately for joining the franchise and for a turnkey package of all the equipment and service you need to get started.

The £28,000 + VAT quoted above includes our license fee (or joining fee) for one territory and all the equipment that you need to get started - including the deposit on your vehicle, its fit out, all equipment, paints and supplies, uniforms, training, manuals, company set up, computers, software, launch marketing and more.

No hidden extras or costs - you don’t need to invest anything more to start trading.

Normally, you would be able to claim VAT on joining fees, when you become VAT registered and we will provide you with advice on this.

On top of your initial investment, you may need some working capital to cover your personal and business expenses until you get paid on your first jobs. We will advise you on this in a meeting - but typically you need no more than to cover your personal expenses for a couple of months.
